  I went to TJMaxx on Cumberland Parkway today, 9/10/17. I was there around 3:30pm. I went to shop for household items as I just purchased a house. While there I decided to look at handbags. I found a beautiful black leather Marc Jacobs bag that was locked. I asked the lady at the fitting room station if someone could come and unlock the bag. A young lady came about 5 minutes later. I pointed her to the purse. She promptly said "It will be at the cash register". I said do you think I could look at it before you take it to the cash register? She says "yes" and hands it to me. I gave it back and again she says "It will be at the cash register". I don't know if I look like a thief or if this is store policy. Either way, I left the bag at the cash register and the $200-$300 worth of merchandise that I was going to purchase in the buggy.

  Unlike some TJ Maxx, if you are looking for something you will be able to find it at this location or an alternative. They have a hard time when it is crowded moving the line along quickly, but it is generally well organized
